I just received this message from a cousin, rest of you may already have this. The World War 1 registrations are free from Nov 12 - Nov 25 on ancestry. I am hoping that the address comes out alright, copied and pasted. Online World War One Indexes & Records http://www.militaryindexes.com/worldwarone/ I didn't realize that they had to register at ages that old, my grandfather, William Samuel Wood, 33 years old of Texas Co., MO is there. "Willie" is my maternal Wood side, one of my paternal Wood side, Henry Gideon Wood of Baxter Co., AR is there. He is 42, wife Gertie. Needless to say I have been busy copying. You have to use the little hand to scroll to see them but they print out great and readable. I know some of you already have ancestry.com but if not this is a great find for the time. I am going in next to look for Wayne House, cousin of my dad. He died in Baxter Co., AR. Marguerette

I am not related to the Renfroe family and not familiar with them but will share with you the following from the book " A History of Ozark Co (Missouri) 1841-1991" page 611 ( the only Renfroe in the book) a family history submitted by C E Wright " my parents were Ray (1888-1978) and Lottie (Green) Wright (1885-1988). They were farmers and lived near Hammond until 1965 when they retired and moved into Gainesville Mo. In 1975 because of their failing health we moved to them to California. They are buried in Ridgecrest CA. My grandparents were Phillip J (1850-1929) and Pollyan (RENFROE) Green (1847-1929) and William E (1860-1958-) and Ada C (Howe) Wright (1852-1941). The Green family came to Ozark Co around 1875 from Idaho. Mr Green was a former Indian Scout. They are buried at Isabella Missouri. " In my seemingly endless search of the Green family --I have notes about this Phillip J Green as follows; Phillip J Green 1850-1929 could be the son of Phillip W Green born 1825 and wife Marg. Mahala Ann Blair. Phillip W Green possibly the son of Leven Green who is son of Henry Green Sr Phillip J Green married Mary Pollyan Renfroe (1847-1929) in Ozark Co Missouri on March 15 1874 and I have a question mark beside this so do not take this as gospel until you check it out. Good Luck to You Mary Belle __________________________________ Yahoo! Mail - PC Magazine Editors' Choice 2005 http://mail.yahoo.com

I am looking for ideas. I have found that I have a Registration Card for Marshall Greenville Inman, s/o Alva and Eliza Ann Inman. It shows date Sept 12. 1918 and that he is living on Route 2, Cabool, Texas Co., MO. His wife is Eliza Inman. This would be Lizzie J. (Jean Johnson) Inman. The 1910 census showed a wife name Mary, they had been married 3 years. Was census taker wrong in name of wife?? Jean died at the home of her brother, Joe, in Mt. Home, AR. I cannot find them in the 1920 census and know they are there, died in the 1960's in CA having lived there for 20 years. I have looked for Inman's in AR, OK and MO, have looked for Marshal, Marsh, Greenville, M. G. and then looked for all states but still cannot find them. Are there any other ideas out there that could help me?? He also has a brother, Hayden (Haden) Inman that should be in the 1920 census, he is living in OK in the 50's. Marguerette

I have now found that Jean Johnson Inman and brothers are NOT the children of Woodley Thomas Johnson who married Sarah McGehee. That Woodley (Woodly "Tom") died in 1923 and was born in 1874. I have found Woodly Johnson 34 with parents James H. and Mary A Johnson living with him, also his wife and children, in the 1920 Texas Co., MO Morris twp census. The father is James Henry Johnson, the mother of James Henry had married William McGehee. James Henry married Mary Ann Wagner. In the 1880 census James H. and Mary A. Johnson, son John C. and daughter, Lucretia E. are living in Burdine, Texas Co., MO. Believe that John C. 5 in 1880 and Woodly 34 in 1920 are brothers and could be the family of Jean Johnson Inman. The son of James H. and Mary A. Johnson, John C. married Missouri Almeda Inman, d/o Alva and his second wife, Eliza A Inman. Alva and Eliza are the parents of Marshall Inman. Did Marshall and his sister, Missouri Almeda marry Johnson siblings????? I could not find in Heritage Quest the 1900 census for James H. and Mary A. Johnson to see who their children are. Can any of you check for me on ancestry.com for that family? It would be in Texas Co., MO. I don't know if ancestry.com has an index for that year or not. I found Marsh as March Inman 34 in the 1910 census of Morris twp, Texas Co., MO 34 m1 3 years and his wife is shown as Mary 25 m1 1 child. (Is this Jean, the age fits) and one child, Nellie 2 years old. Marshall is living with his brother, Alva A. Inman in the 1900 census, their mother, Eliza A. Inman is next door. I cannot find Marshall and Jean (or Mary) Inman in the 1920 census. Marguerette
