He was the son of John Martin's sister, Anita (Nettie) Florence Martin Harvey, who died soon after giving birth to Willie Jack. Nettie and her husband, Robert Glen Harvey, had moved out to TX with John and his wife at the time. After Nettie's death, Willie was left with John and "Annie". Robert took the other four children (Elva, Curtis, Martin and my grandfather Augusta Lee Harvey) back to AR where they were raised by two maiden aunts (Maggie and Nancy Martin) and their divorced brother, Joseph J. Martin.

During a discussion with a family member, he stated he was told the Green's and Grahams were related and one of the Graham's he knew always called him "cousin" when they met. I have 3 Green girls--Sarah, Martha and Maria that I have yet to find spouses for. Is one a Graham -Grayham ?? Sure would appreciate any help .

If you have any ideas who might have been the father of James B. Tracy born in 1866 and living with his mother Sarah G. Hawkins Tracy in 1870, in Fulton County in Big Norfork township, please let me know. James had a sister listed as Elizabeth on the 1870 census but I think she mostly went by Genetta or Nettie Tracy and I believe she became the wife of William Franklin Smith. I believe this lady and her husband are buried in the Herron-Custer cemtery. James B.Tracy was listed in the household of his mother's aunt for the 1880 census as age 16 and going to school. He was also listed in the household of his mother's half brother, James Porter Herron, on that same 1880 census. He was listed there as simply James Tracy and age 16. The Tracy father of these two children was listed as born in GA but he and wife are not shown on a census together. I do not find James B. Tracy after the 1880 census. I do not find Sarah Hawkins Tracy after the 1870 census I can trace Elizabeth Genetta Tracy as married but have no contact with her descendants. Would appreciate any help you could give me. dbton@yahoo.com 1870 Sarah Tracy age 21 in household #8 on 1870 Fulton County Census of Northfork Township. The first name listed is Nancy Stanford age 23. It does not list her as head of household, just housekeeper. That is what is listed for Sarah Tracy, also, housekeeper. Sarah had a son James Tracy and a daughter Elisabeth Tracy. The son, James age 4 in 1870 is 14 in 1880 and is living with James Porter Herron, half brother of Sarah G.
