Hi Peggy This census record is a bit misleading - unless George Smothers adopted the Heiskill children. Ella Beavers was married to a Heiskill; before her short marriage to George Smothers. Marriage record: John M. Heiskill 21 m. Ella M. Beaver 18 on 1 Feb 1910 Mrs. Ella M. Heiskill 22 m. George Smothers 24 on 15 Jul 1916 I don't know if George Smothers died or there was a divorce.
