Vera and Annis Something kind of interesting here. Edd Fields - the son in the 1930 census; aged 18? He evidently was married to a Beulah Mae Cockrum. I don't any date or her age or anything like that. But, just her name. So, I may have just made it up. (not really.............) Beulah Cockrum's parents were James Briant Cockrum, Jr. and one of his many wives - named Sallie Rider Whitekiller. Sallie was a full blood, I think. Died in Claremore - (my birthplace) - which is the old Cooweescoowee Cherokee District. Sallie died there in 1919 and at some point, her Cockrum husband returned to the Izard Co. area - because I show his death as being in 1950 and he's buried there at Custer-Herron. I have often wondered how he connected to the James Cockrum that was Patsy Green Moulder's second husband. These folks must have been all around my Smiths - because they're all reburied there at the Custer-Herron. Lewis Smith (found in the 1910 Fields home of Bob Fields and Maude Moulder) had a brother named Bill Smith (b1898). Bill was married to a May Cockrum - as Vera knows. Sooooo..................more connections than I thought, right? Bernie Moore-Knowles Phoenix, Arizona - Papa'aloa, Hawai'i "I have Indian blood in me. Regarding your post on Polly Ann Moulder--from the info I have she is dau of William Moulder and Martha Green-Stinnett. She would be sister to Martin Moulder who married Mary Elizabeth Green She was born 1863 died ? supposely had 2 sons maybe out of wedlock named Richard and Jack--married April 27 1928 to "Fortune" Teller Smith. I'm not positive on this--just what I have in my notes. Do you need the other children of William and Martha ? ===== Mary Belle Got this from Mary Green. In the 1930 census Polly Ann Moulder is divorced. not widowed. Where is Polly Ann in 1900? and is "Fortune Teller" Smith some of Bernie Smiths? Annis __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Hi all Doing a little research on my Smiths - story of my life? Does anyone have access to the 1900 Baxter Co. census? There is a Smith listed in Barren Creek, household #7/7. Whomever this is - I can't read the image - he is close to the age of my Tom Smith and too, is born in Missouri - as Tom was. So, I'd be real curious as to who this is. Anyone have access to this image, that can read it? Thanks for your time, Bernie Moore-Knowles Phoenix, Arizona - Papa'aloa, Hawai'i "I have Indian blood in me.
