Maybe at one time there could have been one with some writings on it but time and neglect had taken its toll by the time I started caring for the cem. The infant graves are easily picked out but where Shadrack and Mahala are laid is just guess work. I'd like to say that the stone that might have had writing on it is Mahala's. I've taken many photos of the cem over the years and would be very happy to mail some to you. I'll need a snail-mail address please. I have no direct relation to the Henderson family other than just wanting to know them. But The Jackson family who marries into the Henderson's --I believe could be mine. And there is a connection to the Henderson's thru the Parks-Taylor-Green line that comes back to me. I have quite a lot of info on Shadrack's children and who they married--be glad to share that with you. But I have been unable to find anything about Shadrack's parents or siblings. I do have some on Mahala's. There was a Doctor Henderson in this area but I do not know if he had any kinship to Shadrack.

I just posted a query inquiring if anyone knew what happened to the many photographs that belonged to Anna Mae that were family pictures. They were left in the home where she lived. Chris Bronder is buried in the old Mountain Home Cemetery beside Anna Mae. I have never seen any of his art and do not know where his works could be found. Wish i could assist you.

She was md. to Henry Tipton, from a prominent family. He was a Pharmacist and his father was a Physician. They lived in a rock house near the Mountain Home Library. They had one child, Cora Mae Tipton Sawyer (also deceased). I have been told there were a lot of pictures in the home when someone bought the home and i would like very much to locate those pictures as i know they were pictures of our family (Caldwell and Gray). Anna Mae's mother was Cynthia Caldwell Gray (my great aunt.) who died in 1931. Anna Mae had a half sister, Madge Miller Gladney who died very young. She had a son that Anna Mae raised. Madge attended schools in Mountain Home. I would like to make contact with anyone that has any knowledge of the family pictures as i wouldn't want them to be lost forever.
