Thurs. Apr 29, 1971 Unknown Newspaper Clipping Mrs. Vera Pierce Mrs. Vera Pierce, aged 73 of Crossett, died Sunday, April 25, 1971. She has lived here 17 years. Survivors include a son, D. C. Pierce of Crossett; two daughters, Mrs Duffie Walsh of Crossett and Mrs. James Reid of Texas; Three brothers, Walter St. John of Dallas, Troy St. John of Crossett and Curtis St. John of Hermitage; a sister, Mrs. Henry Williams of Crossett; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral was at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Jones Funeral Chapel. Burial was at Crossroads Cemetery.
