Parents names, where was he from, etc? My GG-grandfather was in that Twp in 1860 but gone by 1870 and dead before 1880. He was Travis Jones, b. 1808 GA, last lived in Attala Co., MS before arriving in Egypt Twp, Ashley, Co........and he and his family was living in HH of Francis McMurray FLEMING. There is a Mary JONES living in HH of Mark Monroe FLEMING ( brother to Francis)......... Does anyone know if there is a connection between Travis, Mary and Roger's William JONES??? Thanks, ~Sue~
