Hi Herb, Back in October last year, I sent some money to you, and you were going to scour around and see what you could find on my Ashley County family. Have you found anything at all? Louis K. Then too, some of the oldest records of that area of the county are not to be found in Ashley Co, but in Chicot, and Morehouse Parish, LA - both of these are certainly close enough to justify a brief search of tombstone records and perhaps census info (since you are not quite sure as to the exact year of her death) just to be sure. My wife, Robin, has heard of Miller's Chapel, but is not sure just where or what it is (old town, church, or cemetery only). Her father, the most knowledgeable member of the family concerning that area, is out of pocket currently, but we will ask him when he returns. In the meantime I will look into what records we have concerning that area, and if I find anything will let you know. Herb Harris frank cook wrote: > > The only information I have is skimpy.
