I am trying to locate David Truman Stanley in Arkansas in the 1860 census. I know that he took out a land patent in Ashley County in 1863, but I could not find him in the census there in 1860. I think he was probably in some other part of Arkansas in 1860, but I do not have access to the 1860 census index to locate him. Is there someone on the list who might have access to the 1860 census index for Arkansas who could check for me please? I would really appreciate any assistance with this. Thanks. Ken Camber
