Dear Researchers, Robert Hill and Nancy Carruth Hill are buried at Adam-Singer Cemetery, Hermitage Highway, Bradley County, Arkansas. I have found Nancy's connection concerning the Carruth and her family in Louisiana, however, I need some help with Robert Hill. First I am finding conflicting data as to his Birth year. 1880 US Federal Census, Arkansas, Ashley County, Beech Tree Township states: 46/48 HILL Robert W M 57 SELF Farmer AL TN VA HILL Nancy W F 37 Wife Housekeeping MS GA VA POWELL William W M 11 Stepson AR MS MS HILL Robert P. W F 2 Daughter AR AL MS Now for my question: I've seen his year of birth as three different ways: 1818 1823 and 1828 Also, I have found a HILL with the birthing information for a John Hill TN and a Margaret Hill VA, located in the 1850 US Federal Census, Alabama, Talledega County, Talladega District, Page 366, Roll: M432_15 that has below John and Margaret Hill, what looks to be sons, Robert Hill and James, just below them is an Alexander Hill, who looks to be a possible brother/nephew of John Hill. 253/259 John Hill 50 M Farmer V5000 Tennessee Margaret 52 F V Virginia Franklin M Stading (?) 25 M Labor V Ala Robert Russell 18 M (??)
