My GGG-grandparents: John Johnson b. 1802 probably Wilson Co TN and Charlotte McMillan b 1806 KY married in Jefferson Co, AL in 1823. Abt 1853 they arrived in Ashley Co with their children after brief stops in Carroll and Morehouse Par: 1. Eliza A. who was by then married to Travis Jones. (my GG-grandparents) 2. William R. was by then married to Elizabeth S. James 3. Melissa 4. Daniel or maybe the name is David 5. John W. who later went on to TX and married Sarah in Hunt Co 6. Frances E. who married Henry J. Lum(s) in Ashley Co in 1856 7. Alva P. who married Salina Goodwin in Ashley Co in 1861 8. Andrew J. 9.
