I believe that the S. M. Moore was Simpson Moore, who became a preacher, but I may be mistaken. If so, he bought the land down behind the Prairie Grove Church in Drew Co. on Long Prairie. There were other Moores in this vicinity, too, along with some Harrises that were some connection . These are old stories that I remember my grandfather telling, and I am fuzzy on these.
