Confused! Can anyone help me to understand: White, Ashley Co AR ...vs....White Township, Ashley Co AR. Are they two totally different places in different locations? My mother Laura Louise POOLE Simpson [long deceased] was born in White, Ashley Co [source Delayed Birth Certificate]. Her grandmother Sallie Laura SANDERFER Poole was in White Township, Ashley Co AR in 1900 [source census]. I googled by didn't find specific/satisfactory answer.
