Pat, I have a Dr. John Harris from Alabama. I don't know if he was born there or not. I have not been able to find out. He married Geneva Josephine Ozment in Drew County. I have found Nancy's connection concerning the Carruth and her family in Louisiana, however, I need some help with Robert Hill. I know nothing about this cemeteryas my people are buried at the Snyder cemetery. There is a book, possibly you know of it, written about the Portland area. It names many people from that area back some time ago. I did not leave then or even in Ark. but it was fun reading the book since some of my people are mentioned. I looked in the back and could not find that particulary cemetery mentioned at all. It is called Beyond Bartholomew about a bayou area.
