Lucas was a resident of Wauconda, Illinois at the time of passing. Lucas was an 8th grade graduate of Wauconda Middle School and was a member of the band, playing the clarinet, piano and guitar. George Aragon Tucumcari, New Mexico Mar 2, 1955 – May 7, 2018 (Age 63) George Aragon, Age 63, passed away unexpectedly in his home in Tucumcari, New Mexico, on May 7, 2018. He was born on March 2, 1955, to Henry Aragon and Vera (Tita) Martinez Yocum in Tucumcari, New Mexico. Survivors include: his wife and the love of his life; Shirley, his son; Joseph Aragon, stepson; Billy Richmond, six grandchildren; Fabiana, Dominic, Aysa, Ezra, GAnna and Joseph, Jr., four siblings Alex Aragon and wife Rita, Charlie Aragon and wife Judy, Lupe Lacy, Rick Aragon and wife Jackie, two uncles, Leonard Martinez and wife Carmen, and Lupe Martinez and wife, Tina, and numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives. He is preceded in death by his son; George Aragon, Jr., parents; Henry Aragon and Vera Martinez Yocom, his brother; Juan Aragon, his sister, Susie Tapia, grandparents; Mauricio and Manuelita Martinez, as well as other family members. George was an Electrical Contractor, who owned his owned G&S Electric. He attended Tucumcari schools. George served in the New Mexico Army National Guard and was a member of the American Legion and the Knights of Columbus. When George wasn't working, he devoted his time to his family, especially his grandchildren. Hobbies included fishing and hunting. George was the type of person that when you met him for the first time, he left a lasting impression. He will be deeply missed by his loved ones, family and friends. A rosary was held Thursday, May 10, 2018, at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Tucumcari. Memorial mass followed at 11:00 am with Father John Paul officiated. Burial was in Tucumcari Memorial Cemetery. John Aragon Albuquerque, New Mexico May 13, 1947 - May 25, 2017 Mary Peta Aragon Salt Lake City, Utah 1932 - 2018 Mary Peta Aragon died on May 4, 2018. She was born January 14, 1932 in Center, Colorado to Roger and Rumalda Archuleta Chavez. Peta was a proud mother and grandmother. Her heart was open to everyone as was her home. She enjoyed going to Wendover and playing bingo. She loved to read, sew, and was always dressed to the nines. Peta is survived by five children, Anthony (Renee) Chavez, Debbie (Costa) Mota, Sharon (Ernesto) Martinez, Carol (Jerry Lucero) Aragon, and Roger (Brenda) Aragon; brothers and sisters, Gilbert (Valerie) Chavez, Roger Chavez, Jr., Isabella Garcia, Priscilla Trujillo, and Patsy Chavez; 19 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren; and her dog, Elvis. Aragon Ilfeld, New Mexico Jul 12, 1927 – Apr 27, 2018 (Age 90) Anacleto Ruben Aragon, 90, a lifelong resident of Ilfeld, N.M., passed away suddenly Friday, April 27, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gregorio and Cesaria Aragon; his stepmother, Frances Aragon; a sister, Cecilia Aragon, a brother, Florian Aragon, and a daughter-in-law, Margie Aragon. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Pita S. Aragon of the family home; five daughters: Yvonne Vigil and husband Benjie of Ilfeld; Patricia Aragon of Albuquerque; Mary Lou Aragon and husband Dennis English of Las Vegas, and Inez and Bertha Aragon, both of Ilfeld, N.M.; four sons: Ernest Aragon and David Aragon and wife Tina, all of Santa Fe, N.M., Billy Aragon Sr. and companion Kathy Ortiz and Billy Aragon Jr. (Jessica Aragon), all of Ilfeld; one sister, Vicenta "Bessie" Aragon of Albuquerque and a brother, Benancio Aragon of Las Vegas; 23 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was born in Ribera, N.M. on July 12, 1927. He was a machine specialist for the AT&SF Railway Company and retired after 40 years of service. He was a farmer and spent his time raising farm animals and enjoying his family. He married Guadalupita Sandoval on April 9, 1952, in San Miguel, NM. Cremation has taken place and a rosary will be recited on Friday, May 4, 2018, at the San Miguel del Vado Church at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday May 5, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the San Isidro Labrador Mission Church in North San Isidro, N.M. He was born and grew up in Pena Blanca, New Mexico and later moved to Albuquerque. He was a proud WWII sailor who worked as an office manager/accountant at several local lumber companies. A Catholic Mass will take place at 9:00 a.m. on Friday April 27th at San Felipe Church. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
