    3. [I love these old obituaries!] October 28, 1903: DUNN - Mary E. Dunn (nee Strong) was born in Calhoun county, Ark., August 8, 1857, and died at her home (Little Bay) in Calhoun county, Ark., September 1, 1903. She was the daughter of I. B. and L. B. Strong. She was converted in early life under the ministry of J. R. Harvey and joined the M. E. Church, South, in which she remained a consistent member until death. She was married to Dr. C. B. Dunn, July 5, 1876. To them were born twelve children. Six of them preceded her to the better land, and six are left to mourn their loss. To them we can say, "Weep not as those who have no hope," for you know where to find mamma. And to the mourning husband we would say, Look up and take courage, you can meet Mollie in the "sweet by an by," where partings will be no more. "Mollie" as she was familiarly known, was a most faithful and a true mother, in every sense of the word. There was always in her life a sublime faith in spiritual realities, and to all who knew her she was a true type of Christian womanhood, consistent, kind, gentle and considerate of the welfare of others. Mourning ones look to Jesus, who is able to heal your bleeding hearts and comfort you in your sorrows. Yes, look to him who is able to save to the uttermost and finally bring you together again, an unbroken family around His throne in heaven, there to dwell with mother throughout the ceaseless ages of eternity.
