Fran we defended you and your postings and now we feel that we have been taken advantage of. Was your intention just to get us interested then stop so we would buy your books or am I mistaken. Martha would you kindly e-mail me privately concerning this matter. I am in NO way trying to mislead anyone in any way and I do not have the time to defend myself and my posting on a daily basis. The long and the short of the matter is that I have invested in excess of $1,000 of my own personal money for a microfilm reader and numerous rolls of microfilm. Add to that the fact that I have contributed NUMEROUS hours of my personal time and submitted hundreds of newspaper items to a large number of folks who have been very supportive and grateful for my contributions. I have completely ceased to post items to one list because I do NOT desire to offend or upset anyone and I am NOT naieve enough to believe that anyone can please EVERYONE! I will repeat again and this is the last time I will address this issue.......the names that are in the indexes that I post to the list are names that I found in the newspaper. I gave the name of the newspaper and the year that it was printed. If I have offended anyone, I am truly sorry but I feel like I am being forced to defend myself yet again and I won't continue to do so. I believe I have contributed to the lists that I am a member on and if anyone disagrees, I would appreciate if they would address me privately in the future.
