    3. October 22, 1914: Ozark, Ark. Oct. 20 - Following a dispute over the allotment of space in Mine No. 2, at Denning, Bert Hill is charged with having struck John Rice in the stomach and over the head with a pick. Rice recieved serious injuries and physicians consider his condition critical. Hill, who was arrested, furnished bond for his appearance in court. November 4, 1914: Paragould, Ark., Nov. 3 - Mrs. S. H. Baldridge, 25 years old, of near this city died Sunday at the local hospital. Her husband and one son survive. Newark, Ark., Nov. 3 - Mrs. J. H. Holderby died at the family residence here last night. Little Rock, Ark., Nov. 3 - B. F. Bone, 21 years old, died at 3:30 o'clock yesterday morning at the family residence, 1123 Scott street. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Bone, two brothers, R. O. Bone and B. A. Bone, and a sister, Mrs. W. E. Osborn, all of Little Rock. Private funeral services will be held from the residence of R. O. Bone, 1109 Scott street, at 2 o'clock this afternoon.
