Deceased is a son of the late Rev. P. Basham, of Sarah Grove, Crawford County, Ark., and a brother of Mrs. Jessie Stewart and Mrs. W. H. Stewart, both of Crawford County; also a brother of H. B. Basham, of Fort Jones, Siskiyon county, Cal. Deceased came to California from Evansville, Washington County, Ark., in 1859 together with his brother, G. B. Basham, now of Trinity Centre, Trinity County, Cal. Fran Alverson Warren
