Obituaries from old papers don't seem to give out the kind of information that you see in todays papers. I remember reading a notice about a relative's death, and it said he leaves a wife and 2 children, no names of parents, siblings, or even of the wife or children. I doubt it would have even been reported, except he died in a shooting, and that was what made the news.
