Regarding the Basham obit pasted below: Margaret "Elizabeth" Hinds, the dau. of Margaret Ann Mattix, and granddaughter of Edward Mattix/Eliz. Bond married John Marion Basham on 1 July 1852 near Van Buren, AR. Family researchers said John Marion was a son of Solomon Basham and Eliz. Coffee Marlar of Crawford Co. so I am guessing this fellow in the obit below may have been a cousin since he has a different father. Margaret Hinds Basham's brothers settled in Tulare Co. California where this Wm P. Basham below died so I am guessing there is a connection somewhere.
