He married Philadelphia Denman at Worth Parish church on 25 Nov 1822. Both were of Copthorne in the parish of Worth. The family appear in the 1841 and 1851 censuses at Copthorne Bank, Burstow, Surrey and he gives his place of birth as Burstow, Surrey.
