Great grand pa John is buried in Medina N.Y.The Apps family as far as i know still lives there.My dad and i visited there in the early 70's. We visited uncle willams side of the family.Ionly saw him that time.I can't remmeber his wife's name ,but the boy's name's are gary and bill.Bill was in the navy at that time and home on leave.Gary was in college studing to be a botenist.Gary came to Kallamazoo Area After college and worked as a sale's man in the horticultural industry. ON our visit we went to the grave site,s of gr.grangd pa john and other's As i remmeber the story of how he died, Gr.John was working on a carbon ark street light in medina.he was changing the carbon element's in a lite rain.it arked and he was electicuted.He took a hard fall off the ladder he was on.He was said to have survived the shock and made it back home ,but latter that night he died.
