Hi, We now have brochures in for the ROBESON COUNTY HERITAGE BOOK Project. If your ancestors came from Robeson Co NC then you are eligible to submit a story on them [In most cases, submissions are free. See brochure for details]. We would like for you to consider sending in your ancestors story. Remember, if you don't then no one will, and then your ancestors story will be left out. This book is being written by the descendants themselves, and not just one person. If you are interested in this project, just send us your name and smailing address to the following e-mail address and we will send you a brochure. All monies/proceeds will be donated to the Genealogy Room at the Robeson County Public Library upon completion, which is only about 12% of the total price of the book. Neither me, the Chairman, nor any one else involved on the list of committees or participants, are not paid anything at all. This is a labor or love for our county. You have the right to participate or not to participate if you wish, but but if you doo not, then the stories/articles on your ancestors can not be published. There is not just one Compiler of this book, but rather hundreds who want their ancestors story told. This will probably be their only chance to have their Robeson County Ancestors story published in a nice hardback book as this will be.
