We share the same ancestors right down through Henry and Sarah Jane Harris. I am descended from their daughter Rebecca Anne who was my gg grandmother. I have information new to me since we last corresponded. If you do not already have it I hope you will find it helpful. According to L.L.H. Whitehead, genealogist, of Long Melford, Suffolk, Eng. 1951, Henry II's parents were John Applewhaite, Jr. ("The Younger") b. c. 1609, and brother to Henry and Thomas Applewhaite of Barbados. John married Mary Reade in St.David's Parish, Hunts, England in June of 1636. "Together they came to Isle of Wight, VA, where they became the parents of a son later known as Captain Henry Applewhaite."
