My family were living in the East End of London, Hackney and Mile End but were originally from Somerset a generation before. . Any information on FREDERICK BOWERS APPLEGATE who married EMMA JANE STONE in 1901 would be received with great excitement. Hi Alison For a minute I thought Fred and Emma had emigrated to this country. That would be truly upsetting since we all assume that we are descended from one Thomas in the early 1600s.
