Ever` one forget to chat a bit ? Its ok to keep the conversations about families going. Dan M list owner
Nice to hear from you. I haven't been active with my genealogy research lately. I've been busy dodging hurricanes and much as I can. Happy to report nothing big since Ivan and then Dennis. I got to the point in my research that I couldn't prove a daughter to parents relationship. So much fits, but I've seen those, "Oh, this has got to be the one"..... fall though, so I am hesitant until I get precise info to confirm it. It all hinges on whether a "Mary L. " might have been listed on the censes as a "Martha"???? This person also died about 1918 or before by a few years and I can't find a death certificate or a death notice for her. Of course, that was the time of the great influenza. But my mom remembered watching the funeral from across the street. So,???????? Anyone have any ideas????????
