I checked with my Ancestry.com site and found in 1910: CA, Shasta Co, Keswick Twp #3, Dist 86, listed on 26 April 1910 the following> Applegate, William L., Head HH, age 34, b. 1876, born in NJ, father b. NJ mother b. NY. and worked for a couldn't read company name, Mining Company! He had a lodger with other surname living with him, a guy! Is this your relative???
