No, he was son of Ebenezer and Mary Burdge (not sure of spelling.) John died in Noblesville IN area at apprx 83 years helping build a barn. I have news of that and estate info from that county. Kay

Okay, got him! Do you have other children for Ebenezer and Mary? Are you aware of information on the web regarding his sisters? Any info from John down greatly appreciated. Pat

What I found on Ebenezer was son of Jacob and Catherine Manlees and was born 28 July 1742 Middletown. Died 25 March 1827 at Freehold, Monmouth Co. NJ at 85 years. He was farmer and wealthy (aren't they always <VBG> but the British confiscated his property because he was an enemy of the Tories. An early historian states that Ebenezer was a stern man with an iron will, but upright and honorable. He married Mary Burdge and had six ch. One being John and then Jacob being son of John ----- GOOD Heavens. I do not know where I got this paper but it has Jacob married Aura Simpkins in Madison Co. Ohio 8 Jan 1826 ----I cannot believe this as I have searched for her name for 20 years --and this paper was floating around loose with no source on it!!! I will check this out and get back ---I am floored!!!!!
