I thought I had a picture of the lady you refer to , I think, if same one, sitting in a chair, and I think, didn't she marry this guy that rode the ponly express trail, up in Eargleville, Modoc Co., CA, or in Washoe Co., Reno, the county lines, had not all be drawn then. Hattie is my grandmother and she married Owen Todd Applegate. They met when he came driving into Eagleville with a state coach pulled by all white horses. She was standing on the balcony of the hotel that her mother owned. I do have a picture of her which I believe was taken on her wedding day and then I have another picture of the both of them on their 50th wedding anniversary. I will send the pictures by separate emails to anyone wanting a copy.
