Hello List, I am researching Rachel Jane APPLEGATE, born abt 1821 in Clay County Indiana. She was the daughter of Thomas and (best guess) Mary Russell Applegate who later lived in Rush Co IN. She was married to Thomas COMER and applied for a widow's pension for his service in the Civil War in 1890. They married 1840 in Bowling Green, Clay County Indiana. She was one of five daughters who later lived in Carroll Co MO. Thank you, Pam Baker
