Cameron & Duncan Young subscribing witnesses thereto that the said writing was made in full by the testator. It is therefore considered by the court and so advised that the said writing be taken & considered as the last will & testament of the said George S. Applegate deceased and that the same be recorded by the Clerk in ______ this the 24th day of Oct. 1887. Jno. H. Drune, Clerk It's disappointing that George didn't name his children in his will. Of course I have all the names of his children from the census records, however I have not been able to trace all of them in the later census records and perhaps some of them may have died before their father. Also it would have been nice to see him name his daughters with their married names since I don't have marriages for all of them. Also it's very confusing with the different states of birth in the different censuses.
