Both were divorced at the time and this was their second marriage each. He was a clerk at the time. John E. Ley and May Belle Applegate--married November 15, 1908. He was 25 and living in Squaw Valley and she was 21 and living in Dinuba at the time of the marriage. Memories are like roses in winter.
