Dear Coral, I was just curious which line of Applegates you belong to. We have a couple of Applegates - Jim, who married Minnie and lived in Portland 1911-till death? They had one son, Jimmy. Then Jim had a sister, Delia, who married Lou Anderson and they lived in Maupin (Wasco Co.) about 1917-1930. They came from Nebraska and their grandparents came from Villisca, IA. Any bells? May I suggest that you give some thought to making a photo calendar with Kinkos? I have been making them for about 5 years now and get rave reviews from older aunts who love seeing old pictures, particularly since they are blown up to 8x10" and have such impact at that size. I suggest Kinkos because of their quality of paper and packaging. They are a little pricier but the calendar is not such a throwaway item when they do it (I've tried others).
