Annie Applegate and had 5 children. What I have on them is there. In the Applegate Family In America by Hugh Voress, I found: 5A4C1L2. Virginia(Jennie) Applegate, born Feb. 19, 1860; died 1888. She married at New Brunswick, NJ on Monday, Dec. 7, 1881 with the Rev. W. J. McKnight, officiating, to David G. Bowne, of Jamesburg, NJ, born ; died 1899. Children listed. There are probably others in there, since the Bownes and Applegates were neighbors especially in early American history. John Steadman. They had a dau Mary Macoon Steadman born abt 1754, died 24 July 1814, Lived in South Kingstown, Rhode Island, married John Gould. Am looking for any information regarding following family: Jacob Applegate, b ca1827 in MO Married Elizabeth H. in Kentucky. She was born ca 1831. Children (all born in Kentucky (probably Louisville) Melissa, b ca 1856 Annie, b ca 1859 Henry C. b ca 1860 Catherine, b 6/23/1863; married 1/3/1880 to Henry Franklin Hughes. They were married in Unionville, Putnam Co. MO. Jacob and the entire family were all living there at this time. Mary, b ca 1866, also in Kentucky. So the family must have moved to Unionville sometime between 1866 and 1880. Any info appreciated. Thanks.
