Aha, now I see something: Luvitha was the d/o Isham and Nancy (Pledge)Vest. "Nancy was the daughter of Francis Pledge and a granddaughter of Ann Radford Pledge. It may be that William(Pledge) was married twice as one record states he married Betty Donahoo, the daughter of a chief of the Cherokee Indian tribe and a white woman, Mary Wentworth, the daughter of an English nobleman." Mrs Apperson did not give the source of that information.
