Is Elizabeth Jones a second marriage for William Apperson? With a wedding date of 1830, she wouldn't have been John's mother since he was born about 1822, at least according to what I've found so far. Thanks for giving me some leads on who his siblings are. Author: tjhanso Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.apperson/107.1.2/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I have been doing some research on names from the Ishi story that covered an American Native that appeared out of the wilderness in Oroville in 1911. Jack and Merle Apperson figure in the story as locals that had encounters with Ishi before and after his arrival in Oroville. They became friends and assisted with a field study in 1914 back into the Mill Creek canyon area, east of Vina with Ishi and Anthropologists from UCBerkly to revisit his living environment prior to 1911. Very interesting story... if you have not read it. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
