I am moving house shortly and therefore sorting through everything, including photos and found one of my grandmother Angela last night. On the back someone has written that her father was Augustin Apodaca & her mother Amada Benavidez Orozco. It also states that she was born in Santa Rita, New Mexico on March 7th 1906, so I would say that we share the same grandmother! My father was Rudy Martinez, the eldest of 5 sons who was brought up in Watsonville, California. He came to Britain during the Second World War, where he met my mother, returning during 1948 to marry her and sadly, never went back to the USA.
