I am trying to find more information on some of my ancestors on Maria Dolores Apodaca's family. Need to straighten this out.. There were so much confusion on her. What I saw so far is: Jose Francisco Maes was born in about late 1800's in New Mexico and he married Maria Dolores Apodaca on about March 1867 in Mora County. I can't find any marriage on Francisco Aragon and Maria Dolores Apodaca. But I found the 1880 census on Aragon/Apodaca in Peralta, Valencia, NM. Not sure if the same Dolores Apodaca. They had their children who also born in Mora County. I am not sure if children belonged to the same mother. 1-Jose Tobias Maes born on 28 Dec 1867 in Ocate and baptized on 11 Jan 1869 at St Gertrudis Church in Mora County. Godparents: J.Dario Espinosa & Estefana Apodaca 2-Jose Candelario Aragon born on 2 Feb 1869 in Mora County and baptized on 9 Feb 1869 Godparents: 3-Maria Aurora Maes born on 6 Mar 1871 in Ocate and baptized on 10 Mar 1871 at St. Gertrudis Church in Mora County. Godparents: Felipe Nerio Maes & Maria Refugio Pacheco 4-Juana Maria Cleofes Aragon born on 2 Dec 1872 in Mora County and baptized on 24 Dec 1872 at Sacred Heart Church in Costilla, TAOS, NM. Godparents: Guadalupe Apodaca & Maria Juana Leal I have no clues what happened to Tobias, Aurora and Candelario. Maria Cleofes Aragon is my great grandmother. She married to Marcelino Apodaca (my great grandfather on my side of my Apodaca family tree) on 13 June 1895 in Aguilar, Colorado. Also, I have a document on Maria Cleofes and Marcelino Apodaca's marriage record. As it stated that her parents were Francsico Aragon and Maria Dolores Apodaca. Maria Cleofes was killed by falling off a horse drawn wagon in about 1900-1905. She left her young children, Maria Eva and Antonio Anthony (my grandfather) as she died. Not sure if it is true when she killed by falling off. It is because I could not find any articles or her death records as well as a coroner's report. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
