Jimmy was the forklift operator for Excel Meat Packing Plant. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Jimmy enjoyed working on cars as a mechanic, spending time with his grandchildren, hunting, camping, and going to the lake. Survivors include: his wife; Lisa Apodaca of the home, mother, Hilaria Apodaca of Clovis, NM, two daughters; Stacy (Luis) Griego of Lubbock, TX and Janice (DJ) Lopez of Clovis, NM, son; Jimmy Apodaca Jr. of Clovis, NM, four sisters; Ruby (Paul) Sena of Clovis, NM, Erma (Jack) Amorella of Borger, TX, Gloria (Marc) Martinez of Arizona, and Katrina (Cruz) Lopez of San Antonio, TX, a sister-in-law; Bertha Apodaca of Albuquerque, NM, eight grandchildren; Savanna Garcia, Joseph Garcia, Samantha Garcia, David Lopez III, Jasmine Lopez, Cisco Lopez, Janessa Lopez, and Sincerlee Apodaca, one great-grandson; Izayah Jimenez, two god-children; Geraldine Lucero and Eli Villa.
