thank you so much. I should have known to go to AOL help myself. I think last night I went around in circles trying to get Live help and go nowhere. Taking hard drive out might be a good idea, but not sure if at some point that might be one of my problems. I took all day yesterday using a 1 gig thumb drive and transferred everything over to my desktop. Figured i would delete any personal information off this one. I know they can look for it if they really want to, but only personal information is on my Quickbooks so hopefully uninstalling the whole program will take care of that? Sorry if off topic for AOL but maybe someone knows how to backup Microsft Outlook contacts to disk? Pam
