You do need to turn off Zone alarm when you download and install the Safety and Security Center. If you already have an Anti-Virus program that you are happy with, then why download another one? They will only have conflict and cause you trouble! If you are not happy with Avast AV then uninstall it first, shut off ZA and download the AOL S & S Center and install it. You can turn off the firewall on that and use ZA if you want. If you are happy with how your computer is protected now with ZA and Avast, then if I were you, I'd not download the S&S Center at all. You can simply add a couple of good anti-spyware programs for free and be done. Sharon
