    1. Re: [AOL-RW] AOL conflict with Myfamily.com
    2. And so it continues! I decided since I could not view photos on myfamily.com sites using AOL 9.0 I would use AOL 8.0 (which I had done on the 25th before sending my original message to the list). So today I go to AOL 8.0 and it won't open. The icon is there, the program with all it's files is there under program files but it will not open. When I look at the files I see several that were created at the same time (7:19 PM) on the date (25th) that I used it to view the myfamily.com photos. Would any of those files possibly give me a clue as to what I did to "break" AOL 8.0? As far as I know the only thing I did was look at photos. It was working fine when I signed off. My husband was a lot of help - he threw up his hands and walked out of the room. Vonda In a message dated 6/26/2006 7:33:01 A.M. Central Standard Time, VondaD@aol.com writes: Thanks Jon. Sorry I forgot to mention I am using Windows XP and I receive Windows automatic updates so I should be up to date. What is strange is that I did not have this problem until I reinstalled AOL 9.0. I still have AOL 8.0 on my computer and I have no problem viewing the photos on myfamily.com when I use it. Do not plan to contact AOL - my blood pressure can't handle talking cross purposes for an hour with someone who can't understand me! Vonda In a message dated 6/25/2006 6:45:19 P.M. If that doesn't work, then maybe the best alternative is to access MyFamily.com via IE. I wouldn't count on AOL's "tech support" for any help unless you are lucky enough to get a tech that works in North America!
