Well, the ads have appeared with a vengeance. No longer can I move the screen so that they don't show. I did discover the following trick. Read the mail on Internet Explorer. Can't do anything about the ad at the bottom of the opening screen listing the emails, but once an email is opened, the add appears on the right side and I can move that screen over to hide the blinking, flashing, totally irritating ad.
