You want to be moving it. Do NOT allow your curser to become a double arrow at the top when you MOVE the window. It should remain a curser, the point of which is within the colored bar at the top of the email window. Click and hold, then you move the curser which will drag the whole window wherever the curser goes. The window does not change size while you are doing this dragging. After you get the bottom of the window placed where you want it, THEN move your curser further up and allow it to change to a double arrow and this time increase the size of your email window by moving the top UP.
