My mistake. I just had an online chat with technical support, but it was obvious the guy was just sending me "cookie cutter" responses. What was interesting was that I initially just asked for an email address to lodge a complaint "regarding recent changes to the email window." My exact words. He immediately responded that I must have "a concern about the advertisements on the AOL Read/Write Mail window." That speaks volumes. Anyway, this "technician" stated "The read/write mail ads are selected to offer products and services that might appeal to AOL members. It is not possible to resize or removed the advertisements." He then stated that he would forward to the "appropriate department." When I asked for that email address, he said there wasn't one. Jon Raymond ------------ I have lodged my own complaint with Tell Us More. Of course the ads themselves are not able to be moved or resized, BUT the entire email window IS able to be resized. Yes, it will cause a scroll bar to appear to the right of the AOL desktop, but I don't have to scroll down! Being able to move the entire window down is a feature of Windows and not something that AOL can change. But don't expect them to tell you how to NOT see their horrid ads. Maybe this is being rolled out by area, I don't know. Usually I'm in California, but right now I'm in Maryland and I get them. Honestly, I understand that advertising is a part of our daily lives, but if they have to have ads, they could at least choose more tasteful ones. I'm a big-time dog lover and have raised dogs most of my life and I can promise you that I've never seen a specimen like the one on that current ad. It scares my grandchildren! Brother! I'm disgusted..... Sharon
