    1. Re: [AOL-RW] Where do I go to fight a bill
    2. Dave Do not let AOL give you the runaround. Do NOT depend on them to solve this. # 1 Make absolutely sure that your credit card Company has your correct Home PH # so they can contact you as to any questionable charges to your Card. I learned this the hard way. However, Privacy Guard tried 5 times to charge my Visa and my Company could not get hold of me because I had not updated my Ph # w/them and my Visa company never would pay the charge. Talk to your Credit card Company to tell them this was unauthorized by you. They can certainly see by your previous AOL bills that this was a sudden change. As far as talking yourself to AOL you can do it. Just refuse to tell billing what help you want. Keep insisting you want to talk to that person's supervisor. That you will tell the supervisor. I managed to get to the supervisor's supervisor and solved the problem. Once you tell them what you want they will sideline you as they have already done. The answer you got was totally unacceptable. My charges were to have been 2.95 a minute with a max of 34.95 per month. AOL forgot about the max and just charged me $600.00 + for one month. I called and had my plan changed from $14.95 bring your own internet without any dial up hours to $9.95 bring your own internet and unlimited dail up hours. At least that is how their CSR explained things to me. She told me she would send a message to their complaint billing department to see if she could get me a refund for last month and this month (charge is already up to $140.00). She said that there was no way she could transfer me to this department so that i could talk with them. She said that if they were to give me a refund it would take about 10 days and I would see it on my credit card. If I didn't see it on my credit card than the refund wasn't approved. Does anyone have any phone numbers, names, extensions, etc that I could use to follow up on this if the refund isn't approved?
