Sharon - There is NO UPGRADE of Windows XP anymore - there was in the very beginning, but it didn't work well, so they quit using it. Windows XP is so updated now, since it has been out since 2001, that it will NEVER work on a Windows '98 or ME PC. Most people wouldn't even know how to "REFORMAT" a PC anyway and that is what would have to be done, which isn't going to work anyway. Sorry for all the bad news, but you will be wasting your time even trying to change your PC.
