Sharon, If, for whatever reason, you decide to not buy a new computer and continue to use your WIN-ME based system, be sure you do **daily** backups of all your data files. From what you've described, it is only a matter of time before you have a fatal and unrecoverable systems crash. And FWIW, it is my understanding that Microsoft no longer supports WIN 98 or WIN ME.
