it may be because ver.10 is getting ready to come out, but when all the previous versions came out, i never had this problem and i've been 'around' since version 3! i think there is more to the problem than another update. i wonder if/when 10 does come out, how we go about saving our emails that we saved on aol and our favorite places without losing them. i remember having to make a copy of 'media' folder and renaming it to something else then moving it into the newest version of aol's folder to keep all my favorite places, but i'm going to be a bit leary about the emails i've saved on aol. Lord, if i lose those, hell hath no fury like a woman who loses her saved emails! LOL! julee In a message dated 9/14/2006 1:48:45 P.M. I'm at my wits end and just about ready to drop AOL but I've been with them since 1996 and I really do like them but for some reason, everything about them now seems to be 'going down the toilet'..... Hi I am so glad someone else is having the same problems. As I am not completely computer literate I thought it was me but am so glad to hear that it is not. I think that they are doing this because soon there will be a new AOL.10 or similar coming out soon. This problem arose when they were AOL.8 and I was forced to get AOL.9 but in the process lost a lot of important saved letters and addresses.
